Urban Fu$e AKA UF is a strong brand collaboration of producer/songwriter duo Slam (US) and Jimmix (Venezuela) and later James Grover (UK). A strong dance beat and positive messages around five important areas of health AKA SPEMM (Spiritual, Physical, Emotional, Mental and Money) in a fulfilled life is the hallmark of UF no matter the genre:  hip hop/rap, dance hall, V-pop, Afro, EDM, Latin. UF does it all!  

Why do they call themselves Urban Fu$e? They chose the name because of the  
multicultural fusion of their music, but also because they consider themselves to be fuses: they will spark the musical revolution that is to come.  UF has had many collaboration with many artists around the world in all five continents.

 Their latest music video for Just Cuz We're Young  was released on June 7, 2024.  This track is unique like many before it because it fuses EDM, House, traditional West African drums and Latin rhythm all into one unique UF sound.  

Before that, in 2023 there was Scarred Dreammer and in 2021 Tiktok Rollie (Viet Mix) MV which used Artificial Intelligence AI, Deep Learning in Hip Hop Rap Music when AI was not even in the popular culture.  They're the first international  music collective that utilized AI to tell a complete moral story in the form of a short film.  This could be their first spark in a series of sparks that are yet to materialize. Before that though, the same song- the English version- was voted by the judges of the USA Songwriting Competition a finalist in the hip hop/rap category in 2021.

Back in September of 2021, DLW3 EP, fused with traditional Vietnamese musical sounds, R&B, EDM, old school hip-hop/rap was released. 

Prior to this series, they released Merry Nutcracker Christmas in December 2020. This is a labor of love dedicated to all ballerinas and professionals in the world of ballerinas and classical music worldwide who have worked in the past, present and future to maintain two forgotten arts, ballet and classical music.  Will fans hear ballet music in this EP? The only way to find out is to listen and judge for yourself.

Before that, Fantastic Angel was dropped in the Halloween Season of 2020 as a single.  It was written by SLam when she was invited to a Halloween party where she saw a couple who came dressed in angel and gangster costumes. 

Just a month before that in September 2020, their second album DLW2 was also released.  

With messages about forgiveness, hope, conquering depression, overcoming obstacles, financial responsibilities and more, Urban Fu$e is far from your average producer/songwriter trio.  A few songwriting judges thought so, too.  Urban Fu$e was voted as one of the top 10 finalists in the 25th and 24th Annual USA Songwriting Competition in the Hip Hop/Rap genre in 2020 and 2019 (exactly one year after the duo's formation) for their track "Ninja" and "Freedom" respectively, which used three languages to signify a piece of history that no one involved can forget. Slam's song Candy Cane has also been graded five stars out of five and moved on to be the semi-finalist the  2020 UK Song Contest.
